Hello Users,
We would like to inform you all that Kore is implementing an auto-deletion policy for unused mobile numbers purchased via the XOCCAI platforms (SmartAssist & UXO 11) to optimize costs.
What’s Changing?
- Mobile numbers with no inbound or outbound calls for three months will be automatically deleted.
- Customers will receive a 7-day prior notice via their Admin account email.
- To retain a number, they must make or receive at least one call within three months.
- Deleted numbers cannot be repurchased.
Scope & Impact
- Applies to all enterprise customers across all production environments.
- Affects numbers purchased via Twilio (Voice Gateway > Flows & Channels) that are:
- Unassigned to an experience flow/dialog.
- Unused for the past three months.
Next Steps
- Communicate this update to enterprise customers as soon as possible.
- Planned rollout: Mid-March 2025.
- Documentation updates will reflect this auto-deletion policy.
- Future enhancements:
- Limiting number purchases based on licenses.
- Exploring monetization for additional numbers.
