Unable to import bot, if we make a partial export

While exporting the bot, I exported only few dialog tasks and its dependent tasks.
But while importing the bot(Either as new or existing) it says “Bot Import Failed” botDefinition missing some refIds.
Will I not be able to import the bot with the export which I made (that contains only few dialog tasks)

Yes, I am still not able to import a bot with the botDefinition.json file that has only few dialog tasks. Same error.

Are you importing a bot into an existing bot? If yes, does the target bot have all the dependent tasks, same as the source bot?

Please follow the below steps and share your observations:

  1. Take a fresh bot export (all dialogs and dependent tasks) and re-import the bot.
    OR
  2. Take an export by selecting a few dialog tasks and unchecking the dependent tasks. Import the bot and re-validate the behavior.
