I want to understand the botkit - how to use it , when to use it and its applications .
Also, I want to understand what is a webhook? how it is different than IVR ?
In my current project, webhook and IVR both are getting used but unable to understand why we are using both to serve the same purpose i.e voice calls.
Please help .

BotKit is not essential for a bot. It is a middleware that can tap into bot-user communication and is a useful tool to implement some use cases like agent transfer with other third-party software.
