We are developing a requirement in which we are using carousel cards to show the response, and in one bot response we have more than 5 carousel cards that we are showing to the user, so is there any way we can put numbers/carousel numbers to the cards , so that user has to scroll a little bit less.
and also can we change the background of the carousel cards

Within the default template it is not possible to implement the required use case. You can achieve the requirement by creating a custom template based on the existing carousel template.
