One word vs Two words synonyms

I am using list of enumerated type entity and have defined a value “Overdue” with synonyms enclosed in double quotes - “Overdue” and “past due”, however it looks like when user utterance contains word only “due” , overdue value is getting captured for this entity, how to avoid this. My requirement is that Overdue value will only be captured if overdue and “past due” present in user utterance. How we can achieve this? We are using 6.3.1.
