I am writing to report an issue with connecting LiveAgent to Intercom. The connections have been established, but when I text the bot, I receive both the older conversation and the “connected to agent” message repeatedly.
I have tried the following troubleshooting steps:
- I have checked and confirmed that the connections between LiveAgent and Intercom are correct.
- I have cleared the cache and cookies on my browser.
- I have tried using a different browser.
- I have tried using a different device.
However, the issue persists.

We tried analysing the screenshots shared by you.
In the second screenshot we are able to see two responses test agent and test agent1.
For further debugging we would need to check the configurations made.
Could you please share the bot to koresupport@kore.com as a bot developer and the share the bot details here.

We have reviewed the bot shared with us and we are suspecting that these are configuration related issues.
Try adding the agent transfer in new dialogue Task rather than using it in Fallback Task.

I attempted the agent transfer within a new dialogue task instead of utilizing it in the fallback task. However, I am still facing the same issue. I’ve experimented with Livechat Custom (BotKit), LivePerson, and Drift, but I haven’t been able to successfully connect to a live agent using those platforms. However, with this approach, I have managed to establish a connection. Can you please provide a solution for the duplication issue in Intercom service messages, or recommend a more suitable live agent service?
