We are just getting started with the liveperson integration , we went through the documentation attached above . Is it compulsory to have a live chat to make a live person integration , cant we have live person integration independent of live chat.

I have configured the live chat accordingly as per the above documenation, but the message isnt captured in the live chat agent room. Please let me know if I am missing anything here
