If you read from the parent document, you can use a function called mentions. You can use this information on the Teams developer portal by using it and testing it.
However, when I put the content into the Kore.ai platform and output it from the Teams channel, it does not work.

May I request you to share the code you are using to form the JSON to send it to MS Teams?
Assuming something is rendering and you are just not seeing the @mention how do you see the template render on the MS Teams?
I hope other users who have used MS Teams are able to pitch in. If you are able to help with how you are actually using the template maybe we can take a look and suggest.
