How to implement SSML when integrating Kore.ai bot with Alexa?

Hi
I have integrated Alexa as a channel.
However,I want to use the SSML to pause while Alexa speaks.

How can I do that? any ideas.

Thanks for writing to Kore community. Currently we do not support SSML. We will work on feasibility of the feature and add it to our future roadmap as required. We will keep you posted on updates. Thanks!

Hi @ashwini.wannalikar although this conversation is closed, just wanted to update our developer’s community that SSML is now supported on Kore.ai platform.

Please use the advanced mode and use the channel override option and add the SSML directly. Please note the voice channel you are overriding should support it.

Audio codes is one of the example channel where it works fine. Hope this information will help you with your implementation with Alexa.
