Dear users,
This announcement is to inform you all about the Genesys Audiohook Credential Change.
Previous Configuration
In the earlier setup, the credentials for Genesys Audiohook was managed by Kore.
To access this, users needed to navigate to the Genesys Audiohook section under
Admin → Integrations, search for ‘audiohook,’ and head to “Configuration”.
It was by default taken care of by Kore’s installer Package.
Updated Configuration
The recent update requires a shift from using the default configurations to employing
AgentAssist’s specific bot instance “clientId and Client Secret” for authentication in the
credentials section.
To implement this change:
- Access Genesys Audiohook: Admin → Integrations → Search for ‘audiohook’ and
Select the corresponding Audiohook responsible for your audio streaming needs.
- Replace the values of API key and Secret with the new credentials i.e. AgentAssist’s specific
bot instance clientId and Client Secret. Refer screenshot below:
Impact on Users
Affected Users
Users who have already installed and are utilizing the Genesys AgentAssist package will need
to manually update their Audiohook credentials.
Unaffected Users
Users who are installing the package for the first time will not be affected by this change.
When to Change Credentials
Even after the initial installation, if there is a need to modify the bot credentials in the data table,
it is imperative to update the Audiohook credentials accordingly.
This ensures a seamless and
secure integration between Genesys Audiohook and AgentAssist’s bot instance.
