Calculate and fill form data from user input

Hi,
is it possible to Calculate and fill fields in the form from user input

if possible please suggest how to do calculation and validations based on calculation in forms

as ex.

  1. we have 2 fields username and email id
    and once the user enters the email id ( qwerty@asd.com ) we can autofill the username field with (qwerty)

  2. we have 3 fields checkin, checkout date and no of days
    and we can
    !.. auto fill the 3rd field in form after filling 2
    !.. or validate the 3rd field using input in first 2
