Botkit SDK - Any specific/recommended folder on On-Premise Kore Server

Hi,

Once we are done with Botkit Master changes, any specific folder path we need to push the BotkitSDK to Kore Server?

Hi @ngumudavelli,

Ideally, Botkit is an independent service. You need not push the SDK to Kore server.
Please let us know if you are facing any issue in integrating with botKit in on-prem environment.

A follow-up Qn, in On-premise, To implement redis operations in Botkit, do we need to install a separate Redis Server (ex: during agent transfer)? My understanding is, Kore platform already supplied/installed a redis server during installation, not sure if it is meant for kore internal operations only. Let me know.

Hi @ngumudavelli,

You can use the Redis server that Kore platform installed during the on-prem setup.
However, we suggest you to use a separate Redis server as best practice.
