We would like to inform you about upcoming changes to Kore.ai integrations with Nuance speech services.
Nuance Discontinuing Services:
- Nuance Recognizer as a Service (ASR)
- Nuance Text to Speech (TTS) as a Service
These services will be discontinued by Nuance themselves by December 31, 2025.
Kore.ai Integration Changes:
- Effective immediately, Kore.ai has stopped offering integrations with Nuance ASR, TTS, and Voice Biometrics.
Are You Impacted?
You will be affected if you use any of the following services as an integration to Kore.ai:

Nuance Recognizer as a Service integration for grammar-based automatic speech recognition (ASR) in Architect bot flows.

Nuance TTS as a text-to-speech engine or any voices supported by Nuance TTS in Architect flows.

Nuance Voice Biometrics
How to Prepare for the Deprecation ?
- We recommend reviewing the alternative speech recognition, text-to-speech, and voice biometrics options available within the Kore.ai platform; accessible via the UI.
- Our team is happy to assist you in finding suitable replacements. Please reach out to our support team for further guidance.
